The trouble with fighting for human freedom is that one spends most of one's time defending scoundrels. For it is against scoundrels that oppressive laws are first aimed, and oppression must be stopped at the beginning if it is to be stopped at all. - H. L. July 30, 2006 - 6:05 p.m. I don't want to leave people hanging. It looks like my mother didn't have a stroke. There are only preliminary results of the CT scan and it shows no major hemorrhage. That isn't the only kind of stroke. The other kind would not show up on the scan for a few days. The doctors think her problems are from her infection and if they get a handle on that she'll be OK. We'll just have to wait and see. She didn't have any hallucinations like she did yesterday but she was either delirious or sleeping the entire time I was there today. She kept on arranging things with her hand things that weren't there. I signed the Pro-Truth Pledge: please hold me accountable.
