Just when you thought it was safe to read my diary again it becomes a medical journal. The results are in I have an abscess. I am going into the hospital on Sunday. I'm having the abscess drained by an interventional radiologist on Monday and I'm coming out Tuesday. I should have all kinds of drains and Ivs in me when I leave. I won't really be better for some time after that.
I just found out I'm not going to the first day of Clearwater Folk Festival, the Bridgeton Folk Festival lineup is too strong, I can't miss it. Richard Thompson is the one that really drew me. I haven't seen him since the fall and he is God. Patty Larkin, the Kennedys, John Gorka, the Burns Sisters, and Peter Mulvey will also be there. Some guy name Jian Ghomeshi is on the bill too.
This is about all I have the strength to write now. I promise to get more interesting when I'm healthy again.
