With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
The good life, as I conceive it, is a happy life. I do not mean that if you are good you will be happy - I mean that if you are happy you will be good.
Too much sanity may be madness and the maddest of all, to see life as it is and not as it should be.
The only way to find the limits of the possible is by going past them into the impossible.

I could write this entry with one hand behind my back. Good thing as I can only use one hand. Last night on the way back from Summerfest we stopped to watch the fireworks. We pulled off the highway, parked and walked looking for a spot with a good view. We looked up and watched what we could as we walked … till we came to a place where somebody left this large black object out. It might have been a rolled up carpet encased in black plastic. It blocked part of the sidewalk; the part I was walking on. The first I knew about it was when my toe hit it and I fell forward. I landed on my left hand. I sprained my left elbow, wrist, and hand. Melissa was great and acted as my nurse. She gave me ice packs and went out and got me ace bandages. The elbow is recovering nicely. The wrist and hand got worse and kept me up most of the night. Soaking them in warm water helped this morning. We are going back to Summerfest for a shortened day later. I'll tell you the fun stuff when I'm not in pain.
