I became insane with long intervals of horrible sanity. Edgar Allen Poe
The trouble with fighting for human freedom is that one spends most of one's time defending scoundrels. For it is against scoundrels that oppressive laws are first aimed, and oppression must be stopped at the beginning if it is to be stopped at all. - H. L. Mencken Many people would sooner die than think; In fact, they do so -Bertrand Russell What I have been telling you, from alpha to omega, what is the one great thing the sigil taught me — that everything in life is miraculous. For the sigil taught me that it rests within the power of each of us to awaken at will from a dragging nightmare of life made up of unimportant tasks and tedious useless little habits, to see life as it really is, and to rejoice in its exquisite wonderfulness. April 15, 2008 - 12:28 a.m. Im finally getting around to updating. It is amazing how much time I can waste. So lets start with pictures. I have not, one, not two, but three slide shows for you.
Ive exchanged a few emails with Zo and things seem good. She took the small audience in stride. It might help that I got her a gig doing Kelly Flints Upstairs Session. Shell be so good at that. I got Deni Bonets new CD, Last Girl On Earth in the mail today. It is really good. Shes going to be playing SMAF! I think this is the first time since the first SMAF that somebody that I was friends with beforehand played it. Usually it is the place that I make new friends. I had a great idea what to write about today. I forgot it. Im so bad. Ill put off giving my Fantasy Baseball teams roster again as I still have to write a test. I think Im going to call this entry complete. I signed the Pro-Truth Pledge: please hold me accountable.
