I became insane with long intervals of horrible sanity.
Edgar Allen Poe

The trouble with fighting for human freedom is that one spends most of one's time defending scoundrels. For it is against scoundrels that oppressive laws are first aimed, and oppression must be stopped at the beginning if it is to be stopped at all.
- H. L. Mencken

Many people would sooner die than think; In fact, they do so
-Bertrand Russell

What I have been telling you, from alpha to omega, what is the one great thing the sigil taught me — that everything in life is miraculous. For the sigil taught me that it rests within the power of each of us to awaken at will from a dragging nightmare of life made up of unimportant tasks and tedious useless little habits, to see life as it really is, and to rejoice in its exquisite wonderfulness. If the sigil were proved to be the top of a tomato-can, it would not alter that big fact, nor my fixed faith. No Harrowby, the common names we call things by do not matter — except to show how very dull we are ...

I Like to Watch

I didn't do much yesterday this is going to be hard to write. I'll do it of course because it's tradition. I wake up, I procrastinate, then I blog. Blogito ergo sum.

Yes I make Latin/English puns and expect you to get them.Wise Madness is not for wusses.

I had another rough therapy session yesterday because I'm having a rough time. It's pretty brutal. Then I went up to my PO box and got good stuff, WFUV premia and holiday cards. I never read the cards! I had the wrong glasses on and was in a rush. I'll do that now. BRB. I got one from Paul with pictures of chocolate and one from the Emily, Joe, and the kids with pictures of them! Cards with pictures of things I love from people I love. that made me feel better.

Sorry everyone I didn't send out cards. It's been tough the last few years. I won't feel guilty. I used to send out like 80 cards and get four or five in return. It's commerce. Gifts and cards are given freely not traded in expectations of return.

After picking up my mail I went to Heather's. That's become sort of a tradition. I ate pizza and watched more TV than I have in ages. Two episodes of Phineas & Ferb two of Seinfeld and one of The Flash. I have to catch up on the last. It's not bad. Then when I got home I watched part 1 of Carnival of Monsters one of the best Third Doctor serials.

I forgot to write about something I did when caroling. Dan from The Lords of Liechtenstein was with me. When we sang the Hallelujah Chorus and got to the part "Lord of Lords" I pointed at Dan. The next time I sang "Lords of Liechtenstein! I am totally going to hell.

I have liked my writing recently and ironically not many people are reading it. Oh well. At least you are reading it. I know that has to be true. Thank you.

Things are not going well for me now My Gentle Readers but I don't want to write about that. So I'll just leave this short.
