With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
The good life, as I conceive it, is a happy life. I do not mean that if you are good you will be happy - I mean that if you are happy you will be good.
Too much sanity may be madness and the maddest of all, to see life as it is and not as it should be.
I enjoy paying taxes. With them I buy civilization.

Tonight I went to my last baseball game of the season. The Mets even won the game. That was too bad since I predicted they would lose. I lost to Alan and that means we ended the season tied. I’ll have to work hard to win at basketball.
Wow I have nothing else to write about tonight. I should try to remember some of the things I’ve been thinking about and not writing.
There were a few articles on and by Wesley Clark in the current issue of Newsweek and I like what I read. The best thing about him is that right now he is beating Bush head to head in the polls. So is Kerry the other candidate I like.
I actually wrote out an entire rant and deleted it. First off I think I have ranted about it before second of all I almost forgot to mention something important. Today is Carey’s birthday. She is a quarter of a century old. I used to make her online cards. I looked and I still have one of them online, here it is: Happy Birthday Carey!
