With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
July 08, 2003 - 12:05 a.m. I managed to get out of the house today. I met picked up Roy during his lunch hour and we drove down to the Brokerage Club to get tickets to see Christine Lavin. I’m not sure if I ever bought so many tickets for something at once, we got seven tickets. There will be Bad Carey and his friend Barbara, Roy and his wife Barbara, and two women from Roy’s office one of whom is named Barbara. It is going to get confusing. It should be fun though. We are going next Wednesday which is Roy and Barbara’s anniversary, the day after his birthday, and three days before mine. I tried to call the Turning Point today but they were closed. I have to cancel one of my reservations, I’m going to go see Slaid and Oliver by myself. It will be up to them to cheer me up. I think they are up to it. That is about it for what I did today. I was even more lethargic than yesterday. Tomorrow I’m seeing Patti Smith with Melissa, I hope that gives me some energy. Tomorrow I should have more to write about. I hope so.
