With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
2002-08-07 - 9:48 a.m. I spent yesterday waiting for my car to be delivered to the dealer from their other lot. It was supposed to get there around Noon. I got a call around two that it wouldn't get there till 6:30 to 7:00. I got there at 7 and it didn't get there till 7:30. It looked pretty good and drove like a dream so I'm taking it. It's a red 1998 Honda Civic CX hatchback. It has 55,700 miles. It comes equipped with AC, automatic transmission, and a pioneer cassette system. A CD player would have been nice but I can't have everything. The salesman is picking me up at my house at 2:30 so I can take delivery of the car. On the way home I stopped at a Baskin-Robbins I hadn't tried yet and got my triple layer shake. It still wasn't right though. They didn't have the Reese Cup ice cream so I substituted Peanut Butter and Chocolate. At least it had the Reese Cups on top. I was thinking of seeing Piñataland yesterday at Galapagos last night. Marti was going to go to. First Marti called me to tell me she can't go. Then I got out of the dealers late so I decided not to go. I really want to see Marti. I haven't seen her in months. That always happens with her. We see each other a lot for a bit then not at all for a long time. A friend of mine wrote a diary entry the other day that I thought I should write to her about. She was stressed and I wanted to give her my thoughts on the subject and console her. I had so much trouble writing the letter. I changed directions three times. I found I couldn't really say what I wanted to say. I hate that. I was thinking so many things simultaneously that I couldn't write it linearly. The letter might have been saved by the hugs at the end. Sometimes good intentions are enough. News Flash: For the first time ever spell check didn't find one error in my entry! Give me a cookie.
