With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
The good life, as I conceive it, is a happy life. I do not mean that if you are good you will be happy - I mean that if you are happy you will be good.
Too much sanity may be madness and the maddest of all, to see life as it is and not as it should be.
I enjoy paying taxes. With them I buy civilization.

Just time for a quick update while Carey is in the shower. Yesterday I went into school to see if my first check was in. I didn’t have high hopes, I usually have to wait longer. Miracle of miracles, it was actually there. While I was there I tried to burn some CDS again, it didn’t work again. I think they sell the wrong kind of CDs at the school library where I bought them. I’ll try one more time.
On the way to the bank I passed a girl who looked like Gella except that she was black. It wasn’t so much her face as her body and head were shaped exactly the same, she had the same walk, the same posture, and the same facial expression. It wasn’t happy Gella, excited Gella, or intense Gella, it was pensive Gella. Doesn’t that sound like the names for Gella dolls (not dolls action figures). I think this needs to be a new forum topic.
I spend last night getting my room into shape and then picked Carey up at the airport. When she got off we exchanged our usual hugs and drove home. I didn’t go on the LIE because of construction, that meant going on the Whitestone expressway which goes by Shea Stadium. We got there just after the Springsteen Concert left out. That combined with two lanes being closed meant we were stuck in traffic with all the Springsteen fans. So we rolled down the windows and shouted Bruuuuuuuuuuce. The world hates us be we find ourselves amusing.
