With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
The good life, as I conceive it, is a happy life. I do not mean that if you are good you will be happy - I mean that if you are happy you will be good.
Too much sanity may be madness and the maddest of all, to see life as it is and not as it should be.
I enjoy paying taxes. With them I buy civilization.

Did today actually happen? It seems like I just woke up. Did I actually do anything? I actually accomplished something. I found out what I needed from the print shop. The Budgiedome will soon be a reality. There will also be t-shirts. I’m not sure if they’ll be custom made or from Café Press.
I think that is just about it for my day other than a few errands. I did get to talk to Joy for the first time in ages.
I’m feeling very wistful today. Simon and Garfunkel’s Bookends has been in my head recently. Talking to Lena has amplified it.
