With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
-Steven Weinberg

The good life, as I conceive it, is a happy life. I do not mean that if you are good you will be happy - I mean that if you are happy you will be good.
-Bertrand Russell

Too much sanity may be madness and the maddest of all, to see life as it is and not as it should be.
-Miguel de Cervantes

The only way to find the limits of the possible is by going past them into the impossible.

The Big Muddy (feet)

Today I finally got my camping equipment into Gene and Isabel's garage. I now have my car back. It's been sitting in there since FRFF. I have unfortunately spent much of the rest of the day in the bathroom. Can you mainline immodium?

On the bright side I hardly notice my arm. It didn't lock today. Maybe the elbow will heal by itself.

I've spent much of the rest of the day working on my Falcon Ridge pictures. I need a new computer now. It takes me 10 times longer than it should to do the simplest things. It freezes for minutes at a time. Switching between tabs or windows can be a major time eater. I haven't tagged every picture but I've put in the captions and everything is ready for public viewing. How am I going to show them to you? Not all at once, that's for sure.

Not all the performances at Falcon Ridge are on the stages or late night song circles. Acoustic Live has their own showcase. Here's Jack Hardy performing there.

Yes that's Phil Henry, his wife Allison, Gary Moon, and Brad Yoder in the audience.

Here's a jam in front of Taste Budds. Abbie and Anthony and Pat Klink are taking part.

Go look at all the photos.
Offstage Performances

Muddy feet are an important part of Falcon Ridge. Three people took pics of my feat. I took photos of muddy feet too.

I always say that I'm going to take more pictures of my friends and what's going on off the stages. This year I did.

During Janis Ian's set they had to take a break to fix a generator. Someone set off fireworks. I tested my camera's fireworks setting. It works pretty well.

It's late. I think that's enough for today. Tomorrow I'll show you more. Then I have to start on my DC photos. Then my Slide Session photos. Then my Philly photos. Then …
