With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
The good life, as I conceive it, is a happy life. I do not mean that if you are good you will be happy - I mean that if you are happy you will be good.
Too much sanity may be madness and the maddest of all, to see life as it is and not as it should be.
I enjoy paying taxes. With them I buy civilization.

It's Saturday morning and Carey's in the shower so I guess it's time for me to update.
I didn't leave my house at 11 like I said I would yesterday, I left out noon. This really shouldn't have been a problem since it only takes four hours to get to Baltimore and that's with stopping for something to eat. Thanks the Merge and Delaware I got to Carey's office a bit after five. That meant no time to stop at Moxley's for ice cream. I brought black and white cookies from Adrian's bakery so we survived.
We went to the Irish festival. We ate Irish food and heard Irish bands. The opener was the Prodigals. They are great. They are sort of like Great Big Sea but not cute. We started sitting but soon rushed the stage and spent the set dancing like spazzes and having a great time.
The Prodigals are pretty big in the world of Irish music and have a national following. So why were they the opener? Because O'Malley's March was the headline and O'Malley is the mayor of Baltimore. How cool is that? I want a mayor that rocks. They made us sit for that so we sat on the floor and watched a zillion little kids dance all during the show. There was a little Jian there trying to pick up all the little girls. We picked the one that he'd like best and were right.
We have to go now for Renn Faire fun so ththtthats all folks.
