With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
2002-10-29 - 6:27 a.m. It’s three minutes to six and I’m at WFUV. The drive starts at six. I was up by ten to five and got here at five thirty five. I caught up on FHDC and Diaryland. I am such a softy. My afternoon calculus class did terrible on the corrections to the test so I am going to give them a take home test. I’m justifying it to myself by saying that maybe they’ll actually buckle down and learn the material. After school I took the D train up to FUV and answered calls till five thirty and supervised till I left at eight thirty. I had my usual fun and got to play with friends. This morning I actually beat Jim here and got to call him a slacker. Carey said I should write about the dream I had the other night. I dreamt that I was a backup singer for ‘n’ sync. I was a bit confused because there was only one guy in the band. I thought there was more and knew I wasn’t imagining it because I remember seeing them on The Simpsons. In any event there was the one guy in the band and me and another guy sang backup. The guy in the band yelled at me because on one song I added a few too many flourishes and showed him up. I did this because I wasn’t used to singing backup I had only sang lead before. My dream world has very little relation to reality.
